◆Introduction
We highly appreciate your understanding of and cooperation for Metropolitan Expressway projects as always.
This is a notice of a reinforcement work for the Metropolitan Expressway.
Although the work will be conducted with extreme caution in order to minimize the inconvenience to you, there may be some trouble due to traffic restrictions on Tokyo metropolitan roads and national roads. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
◆Site and time of the work
Work site：
①Between around 1 Nakamaru-cho, Itabashi Ward to around 11 Nakamaru-cho, Itabashi Ward
②Between around 5 Kumano-cho, Itabashi Ward to around 13 Kumano-cho, Itabashi Ward
③Between around 11 Nakamaru-cho, Itabashi Ward to around 8 Minami-cho, Itabashi Ward
④Between around 16 Kumanocho, Itabashi Ward to around 2 Itabashi, Itabashi Ward
⑤Between around 10 Kumanocho, Itabashi Ward to around 2-chome, Ikebukurohoncho, Toshima Ward
⑥⑦Between around 3-chome, Oyamahigashi, Itabashi Ward to around 13 Hikawacho, Itabashi Ward
Work period:
①②From late April 2024 to end of December 2026 (tentative)
③From late July 2024 to end of December 2026 (tentative)

⑤From mid-September 2024 to end of December 2026 (tentative)
⑥⑦From mid-February 2025 to end of December 2026 (tentative)
Hours of work:
[Daytime work] From 08:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(Work will be mainly performed within scaffolds.)
[Night work] From 9:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m. the next morning(Traffic restrictions on Tokyo metropolitan roads and national roads will be implemented.)
◆Effects of the work
Construction vehicles will enter/exit the work area during the work period.
Scaffold installation/removal：
Approximately one week for each site on a night-work basis
Loading of members：
Approximately once to twice a month on a night-work basis
Bump preventing equipment installation：
On a daytime-work basis
Shoe fail-safe installation：
On a daytime-work basis
★Some metallic sound may be generated during the scaffold installation work.。
